Information Security Specialist (x 2)



Location: Houston TX

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: $20 - 25/hr



Need two contractors who have entry level work experience with a
degree. Fresh out of college with a computer related degree is ideal.
They must have a strong technical understanding of routers, switches,
servers, networks... No overtime or travel involved





Job Role and Responsibilities:

=B7 Work on large-scale information security projects.

=B7 Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle:

o Project initiation (Requirements analysis, risk analysis,
etc)

o Product evaluation and proof of concept

o Architecture & Design

o Testing

o Implementation

o Training

o Documentation

=B7 Communicate with vendors and other information security
professionals to identify innovative security solutions and actively
apply these solutions.

=B7 Ability to effectively relate project concepts and
objectives to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.


Qualifications:

=B7 Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information System, or
equivalent.

=B7 Information security experience.

=B7 Experience with implementation of security technologies is
preferred.

=B7 Knowledge of information security best practices,
compliance, and regulations.

=B7 Knowledge of risk analysis and management, preferred.

=B7 Experience in full life cycle information technology
solution implementation.

=B7 Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal
skills.

=B7 Excellent planning and organizational skills.

=B7 Self -starter, with a high degree of initiative and
motivation.

=B7 Strong conceptual and analytical skills.

=B7 Must be a team player.
