and it was geoff berrow who in effect took the time to help me with some
newbie beginners php basics and to help get me started with php .

Hi.I like it.
A few bits of constructive criticism though:
Personally, I find the website a little crammed.
You have big long lists of tiny bold text. I think you could do with
utilizing a little more white space. Add some table cell padding and/
or increase the font size a little.
Maybe increase the picture sizes on the latest_cars.php listing.
I like the wall and latest cars, but maybe some kind of order by
options would be nice (price,year,trader etc).
The search pages are problematic - what happens if a car is for sale
for =A3460? why dont you have price/milage ranges instead? I think you
should think again about all these separate search pages and have a
search form with all the options as drop down menu's instead.
Have a look at how autotrader.co.uk does it.

Do you mean like the (advanced search) option thats available on the=20
main search page as a clickable link :-)

Yeah, that's much better! didn't see that little link down there. why
not have that as the main search and get rid of all that other
unnecessary search stuff. I mean, come on, do you really need:
a link for every thousand miles
a list of all the badges( i can see this having problems!)
every single engine size from 1000cc to 4200cc in increments of 1000
every single year as a link from 1970 onwards
etc etc etc
Unnecessary Clutter if you ask me. The advanced search is much better.
Keep it simple and easy.

the text all crammed together in narrow margins.
