Problems updating with Template
am 20.04.2008 19:41:00 von SteveBott
I've created a new website that I will use to replace my existing website in
about 1 months time. I created it using a template and then proceeded to
create around 60 pages, and any updates to the menu in the template
propogated into all the other pages as you would expect.
Last night I created 2 new pages and then went into the template and added
two new links for those two new pages. When I saved the template it only
updated the two new pages and not the other 60.
I tried again but ever since I've had the "MS FP has enountered a problem
and needs to close....send error report to MS etc etc" and then it shuts down.
I don't believe it's Frontpage itself as I have no problem updating the
pages individually, and also I can use FP to update my current website.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try removing the 2 links and running a tools recalculate hyperlinks before adding them again
you should also clear all FP Temp Files and FP web cache before starting FP
