Assuming you mean Perl5 version 10 ... it was never in Perl5. At least
not according to Module::CoreList.

It's still on cpan http://search.cpan.org/dist/Tk/ though.

I didn't see mentioned there the main reason that Perl/Tk is no longer
maintained, and that is due to the passing of its primary developer and
maintainer in 2006.

Personally, I am still writing Tk scripts, mainly as I haven't worked
out how to use Tkx effectively yet.

According to RT there are still 8 maintainers. Have they all given up?

Brian, thank you so much for passing this on. I know that I tune
in and out of Perl message threads, but I had missed seeing that
Nick Ing-Simmons had died. Nick was a tremendous contributor to
the Perl community. I use his Perl/Tk module all the time. I will
definitely miss him.

No, they haven't all given up, but it seems highly unlikely that Perl/Tk
will ever be upgraded to a Tcl/Tk version beyond 8.4.5 because the only
person who has ever done it is no longer around, and this is a quite
complicated task.
