Installed 5.10, need to re-install packages?
am 11.06.2009 04:39:26 von Phillip Richcreek
I just installed 5.10 and the packages that I had installed under 5.8
are no longer available. Do I need to re-install all the packages? If
so, is there an automated way to do this?
TIA,
Phil

Yes you need to re-install all packages. But instead of automating I would
suggest to install using CPAN or ppm. I haven't done that so far But most of
the people in group can tell you how to do that. Even in case it is
automated, CPAN or ppm will be used directly or indirectly.
