Hello Perl Community,

I am currently using "v5.8.8 built for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread" and
would like to upgrade to v5.10. Since this is for my company use, I
really don't want to screw this up. I would appreciate any help or
suggestions you may have.

From what I have read (release notes, etc)
I should do the following:

1). ppm install PPM-Profile
2). ppmprofile save C:\profile.xml
3). uninstall Perl v5.8.8
4). clean install Perl v5.10
5). ppm install PPM-Profile
6). ppmprofile restore C:\profile.xml #This should restore all
of my non-standard packages into Perl 5.10 correct?

I also have Perl Dev Kit v8.1 installed on my system, from what I
read in the documentation, this should still work with Perl 5.10. Do
I have to reinstall this Dev Kit after installing Perl v5.10?

I also heard that Perl Dev Kit v8.21 is available, how can I "update"
my Dev Kit to the latest v8 version?

Cheers
Daniel

I'd recommend trying this on another machine first to ensure all the
ppms are available for 5.10. Don't forget to add in the other repos.
