Problem installing Win Perl DBD-mysql module

Hi

I followed the link to DBD::mysql. For my Win XP home, SP 1, I followed the
instructions to install the binary. The only instruction says to use 'ppm',
and ppm3 is the only one installed for ActiveState Perl 5.6.1 or 5.8.3.

Here is a scenario:
ppm> install DBI
Note: Package 'DBI' is already installed.
ppm> install DBD-mysql
Error: no suitable installation target found for package DBD-mysql.
ppm> rep add PPM2 http://ppm.activestate.com/PPMPackages/5.6plus/
Repositories:
[1] ActiveState PPM2 Repository
[2] ActiveState Package Repository
[3] PPM2
[4] PPM2
ppm> rep 2
No such repository command '2'; see 'help repository'.
ppm> rep 1
No such repository command '1'; see 'help repository'.
ppm> help repository
ppm> rep 3
No such repository command '3'; see 'help repository'.
ppm> install DBD-mysql
Error: no suitable installation target found for package DBD-mysql.

I cannot build from the source, cause I don't have any C compiler.

What are my options?
