mysql crashes under glibc-2.2.4-30

How-To-Repeat:
Mysqld crashes with a segmentation fault when accessed via TCP/IP under g=
libc=20
2.2.4-30. This problem is solved by downgrading to 2.2.4-29.
I just wanted to say to the community that I just recovered a seriously=20
misbehaving system by rolling back the (automatically) updated glibc-2.2.=
4-30=20
to 2.2.4-29.
Dist: RH 7.2
I will notify RedHat of this problem as well.

Thank you for your message. =20
The only thing you do not note MySQL version you're using.
We have recently released MySQL 3.23.53a which should fix the problem as =
it=20
uses static NSS library. Please let us know if it does not work for you=
Also some people report running NSCD helps this problem in some cases.=20
