Subject: MySQL 4.x hanging my windows server

Description:
"MySQL 4.x hanging my windows server." Yeah that's about it. Winoldapp
is running in the "Close Program" window, hanging something.
Reluctantly, the mouse moves verrrrry slowly because it eats up
processing speed. I went back to my old copy of 4.x from last spring
which works better.

I wasn't be able to repeat that behavior, then I assume that
something in your machine environment is the source of the issue.
Possible causes should be:

- You had configured the environment variable TZ. This will be fixed
in the next releases for the meantime the work around is to remove
the variable from your environment.

- There is a fire wall application that is blocking the server port.
In this case configure the fire wall.
